... so ... I call again. Amazinglz I get staright through again and speak to the same person. Eventuallz she tells me that we can go to the Embassy on Thursdaz morning and someone will sort things out for us. Sounds like good news but ... I will believe it once it has happened.
Back to Khamnadie and dust of the suitcases whilst Jai finishes off the ironing prior to packing.

I am sat in the back garden at Khamnadie when I hear a lot of noise coming from next door. Going to investigate I find a snake trapped under the stairs by an angry looking dog. ... br> Late afternoon friends Terry & Pim arrive with Wan to say goodbye to us and I have to recall Jai mid-hand.
Jiap arrives without Kae leaving room in the car for us to go to Bangkok with us. No communication between them at all and with the airline tickets already bought we say sorry, not this time.

Having spent a lot of time thinking about this and discussing the options Jai now throws a spanner in the works. "Of course, there might not be room in her car for all of us". "All of us" I ask.
