... was incredibly scenic. There are few highways in Vietnam and the only direct route to Dalat was through mountains. I really liked that I could stop at the most scenic parts, take pictures and take in the nearly untouched beauty around me. Every 40 km or so, I would pass through a mountainous farming village. We woke up to get the bus from Nha Trang to Mui Ne at around 8am. It was quite a shame to be leaving Nha Trang, as we have really enjoyed our stay. Once on the bus, for the first time ever, we were told which seats to sit in and had to stick to them. At least we were together so could listen to some tunes whilst trying to catch up on some sleep. ... I'm carrying a fair amount of weight as I am traveling for a year through Asia. That, and I really didn't meet anyone whom I really clicked with and was leaving on the same schedule that I was keeping. So, begrudgingly I continued on my journey by bus... For the time being that is. Mui Ne is a bit more than just a beach town but not by much. As it turn out, it's one of the top places in the world for kite surfing, and upon arrival I understood why... Because it's damn windy. ...

... 160; The next day the two finally began their bike trip and started to head north.  I spent the morning by the pool relaxing before getting on a mini bus to Dalat.  I had decided that missing out on it would be a regret, so back tracking the 5 hours was in store.  I just hoped that this good weather was sticking around and that it wouldn’t be too cold and prayed it wouldn’t rain up in the mountains.  The bus ride was certainly one of the ...
