... from a little old man who showed me how to start the engine and honk the horn, and then happily spun on his heels, pocketed the 100,000 dong(5 usd) and walked away. Umm sir? What time do you want this back? Is this thing insured? Does the gas gauge work or is this thing actually below empty? Nope nothing... As far as I was concerned I had just bought a scooter.... ... speakers- unusual on these tours. The island area around Nhatrang is gorgeous- very spectacular scenery with mountains and mountain islands and the most awesome turquoise water. Glad I brought my snorkel and mask as the coral here is beautiful- the best I have seen. Stopped at a floating fish farm and restaurant. This thing had hundreds of people on it and it was floating on 45 gal drums. The floor is boards with space between them so you can see the water ...

... The food was delicious, but Sabrine didn't digest very well. She was sick the whole night and couldn't eat the day after. We decided to take it easy the next day, and visited the main sights. Hoi an was a trading port in the past, and had a sizable population of Chinese and Japenese merchants. Each of the merchants from a specific region of China had their own assembly hall and temple inside the old quarters. We visited a few of them and had ...
