... to me. Candolim was deserted with big waves which I could tell would pull you right out to sea. Calangute was even busier than Baga with Indian tourists but not as much in the way of nightlife. Nightlife at Baga was much better, on our first night we stayed at a bar on the beach but the second we ended up going to a club with the German girl. We had started at dream catcher where we met two guys from Saudi Arabia. They weren't allowed to drink in their own country so saved the ...

Until our next enthralling blog. ...

... steps onto the beach. Using WhatsApp to message Eric back home, he tells me to Skype him right away! It happened to be Chinese New Year's eve back in Canada and some of our family on my side were having dinner at Peking Restaurant (this time an intentional small plug here). What a great surprise it was to see them all :) I especially appreciated it when they kept telling me they were eating my share of the lobster and crab, as well as drinking my share of the good booze. On the ...

... with a small garland of flowers, and a small red dot of something dabbed onto our foreheads, we are now faux Indians! The tour was excellent! The guide showed us all the different spice plants. It is really something to see the actual plant, the spice, and taste or smell the fresh leaf. On the tour, we crossed a creek with the 'token' elephant in it and the 'taken' tourist giving it a bath, and the idiot tourist, (me), taking a picture of it all happening! At ...
