The kids swam, the grown-ups relaxed and chatted, the Dads played 'Monkey in the Middle' with the kids, we ate a picnic lunch......All in all a perfect way to bring our time together to a close. Ladies Day Out
Today was Jess and Sara's turn to have a day out and exploring so while Tim and Brett stayed home and played with the kids, they loaded up and headed out for the day. Their destination was the Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay Harbor. While there, according to reliable information, they enjoyed a lovely walk around and explore of the different gardens, spent much of the day discussing and then solving all of the problems of the world, enjoyed a quiet lunch in Boothbay Harbor ...
3 Peaks and 3 Beers
... dinner of dumplings, steak, salads and asian soup while we watched the storm roll in over the lake with impressively inky clouds, peals of thunder and streaks of lightning which was quickly followed by torrents of water coming from the sky. Too soon, we had to round up the tired kids and bring them back to the house and put them to bed. After they went to sleep it was time for another round of Settlers of Catan. When we went to bed the tally was now: Tim 2, Brett 1, Sara 0 and Jess 0.

Playing and Building
... grossly unkind to this building as it is a magnificent structure that has one main room, an upstairs loft, a pull-out couch, carpeting and floor to ceiling windows on the side facing the woods. Back with friends

By the time the reconvening had taken place, the kids were ready for an activity and Sara took them to the local lake, Weld Lake, and the corresponding beach, Dummers.
