The nearby Tomahawk craft beer bar, 182 Grey Street, was also recommended to us ( but sadly a quick google told us it was closed on Mondays.

18 hours in Brisbane...what else is there to do meanwhile waiting for the next flight?.. At least I'm happy I can wear mjukisar! :D Here in Brisbane it's only 13-18 degrees so we haven't been outside at all, too cold!! ^^ I ate a Angus Beef Steak Sandwich with onion rings..! Hahaha what a joke the "onion rings" was! ...

... got into a traffic jam (maybe caused by an accident) and the ride took 3 times the time it should. This way I had plenty of time to observe life, archtecture and nature at the outskirts of Brisbane.

The sanctuary has been a good start into my plan B of Australia - even though it was raining partially. Enjoy watching the photos of koalas, kangaroos, wombats, tasmanian devils, emus and other avian fauna - as much as I did in real life!

... crickets. After a relax in the sunshine, I carried on down the river until I got to a 'city cat' stop - Brisbane's river bus. I took the 15 minute boat ride back up the river, getting off on the other side - South Bank. South Bank is definitely the most touristy part of the city I saw.
