Day 2 of 4 on the Trans Sib. I am some where on the Trans Siberian railway so I randomly picked Novo Sibirisk as I have to pick some point on the map- will be passing through Yekaterinburg at some point but we passed Krashneya today (0400 Moscow time/0900 Irkutsk time) and 2 of my compartment mates got off. We go through check in and I change my Som to Roubles and get handed back a few Som coins and a note that don't convert evenly into roubles.
Using the spare som in our pockets we try to buy a packet of crisps but were a bit short but the lovely girl took pity on us and let us off.
The gate opens and we head. It's goodbye to central Asia.
