... I was sharing a room with a girl from Sydney and another from Melbourne. I had a shower and washed my hair for the first time in a few days, did my laundry and joined in the $5 Saturday pasta dinner that meant I didn't have to think about where I was going to eat.

... trains and buses). so onto a train which took out to our B&B stop. Had to walk up a typical San Francisco big slope for about 200 metres and was pooped with the suitcases on wheels. However nice B&B with all windows open and very quite.

Interesting the Bart is a driverless train as was the electric trains back in Vancouver.

Different having accommodation in Suburbia and not Tourist area, although station only a short distance ...
