        ... If you are scared of heights you are recommended to sit in the lower deck and close your eyes. The views on the way up were awesome but not for the faint hearted. At the top we were clouded in but we fluked a brief clearing in the cloud and managed to get some shots from the top lookout all the way down. Simply spectacular!         ... things went wrong. After waiting for a long time - 20-30 minutes (and I was cold) the Explorer bus blew past us, not even slowing down. I immediately phoned the terminal and they told me it was the last bus! We had to find our way back to the city - a long way.         ... parents, behave and don't grow stones at caterpillars!
        We carried on down the 1000 steps to the bottom where we then got the wolds steepest train back to the top. It was incredible!

        It was then time to head back to the hostel where we quickly had dinner, washed clothes and then booked the next few nights accommodation. Also made arrangements for my cousin to come down to Sydney on Friday for the weekend so should be exciting!!!

        ... 5 3/4 hours we returned to the ship very happy with our day. We then had 3 days at sea with temperatures around 30, skies mainly clear and smooth seas. Passing very close to the northern tip of Sumatra near Aceh it was mirror smooth with pods of dolphins and it was hard to imagine that thousands had been killed here in the tsunami. Our cabin is on deck 7 so 2 decks up to the pool and buffet and 2 decks down to the dining room and entertainment. We have a balcony ...
