Worlds End
An early morning start today. Left the guest house at 5am in the cold and dark. The tuk tuk ride was uncomfortable and cold at best and seeming just went on and on. A couple of hours later we arrived at Horton Plains National Park. A long wait for an array of forms to be filled in. Why is taking ridiculous amounts of money from us so time consuming? The park entrance fee for two of us was $50, so will never complain about our fees again, What really bothers us though is ...
Haputale
In the hills atm staying in lovely Haputale. We look out onto a sea of tea plantations. It is spectacular. Am so glad we are revisiting this area as I completely missed out on the hill country around Ella due to my dodgy tummy.

One 'Ella'v a Day!
... Great day all in all, but bloody knackering!
Highlights:
Climbing Ella rock with a Scandinavian father and son. The father was amazing, he'd travelled Asia in the 70's and had loads of stories!
Swimming in Dunhinda falls. Once again, I was the only one and the locals all thought I was mad.
Catching the train in with the driver, very surreal.
Lowlights:

“Pros and Cons”

Pros: Best view from the 2000 Rs. rooms, Good service, Nice food, Clean rooms.
Cons: Thin walls - you can hear the neighbors, Masjid nearby - loud voices from 4 AM - disrupt your sleeping, Old design.
Summary: It's OK. You can find better. not worthy lonely planet warn recommendation.
