The trip from Marbella to Gibraltar took us about an hour by car. The approach showed the enormity of the Rock of Gibraltar and the coastline of northern Africa in the distance. It is, after all, only a short 'hop' over the straits of Gibraltar from Algeciras or Tarifa in Spain to Tangier in Morocco. Crossing the border into Gibraltar from Spain was no problem at all.
