Finally Michael got the laptop sorted and the Internet connection. I had a bit to catchup on the blog while the boys slept in. Took Michael for a tour around Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Bel Air houses. Had a walk along Rodeo Boulevard. Didn't see many people with shopping bags. We had a wonderful visit and everyone wished we could have stayed longer, but we still have a few more stops on our trip and work waiting when we return.

Family time is always great. Life is good.

Anyway, driving was smooth - it didn't take Ryan long to get the hang of it, apart from using the wipers frequently instead of the indicators. A lot of people on the roads don't use blinkers anyway. We were cruising at 80 mph - equates to 128 kph. The 101 freeway is a lot smoother ...

... br> Back in the Jeep and onto Fess Parker's (you might remember him as the coon-skin capped Davey Crockett, and even played Daniel Boone on occasion--in the '50's and '60's) Winery. VERY elegant place. We couldn't remember if Fess was still kickin' or not, but as a very vivacious young blond (who doubled duty as our 'pourer') informed us--he kicked the old oaken bucket about three years ago at the ripe old age of 83. Wine was good, but ...
