... 8217;t completely in vain. The cliff overlook had phenomenal views of the surrounding mountains and we sat here for a little while to enjoy the views. On the road again

Our first day on the road. Tori wants to stay on interstates and close to big cities. It is a challenge to my usual driving style. We did manage to get through both Baltimore and Washington DC with only a minor tie-up. Stopped and ate at chain restaurants. Not my usual style but this is Tori's trip. Our next destination is Arlington, Texas. Tori has a friend there.

... last night in Shenandoah. We enjoyed the smokey swirls of clouds when it wasn’t raining, but had to stay tent and car bound for the most of the evening due to the weather. We picked up some sparklers, killer bee’s, and pop it’s at a parking lot firework tent.
