We left early, at least for us, and headed to the Lake Shasta Caverns. We took the first tour at 10AM and we were the only ones on it. The lake was really low so we had a long walk down to the boat and then a nice boat ride across to the other side. The caverns were nice with lots of steps but overall well worth the money.
