... 21 out of 24 right so being woken up was well worth the victory! 26th December 2014 Boxing Day started the same as Christmas Day with Vicky FaceTiming the family back home - the Christmas Day party was in full flow as a result of the time difference so it was a good chance to see the extended family who she'd only seen on video the day before. After a catch up with those still at the party a quick call was made to her sisters who were still up at home. Whilst on the phone we ...

The restaurants perch a metre above the beach and are lined with U ...

... after all the babi guling that I have been eating! The rest of the time here was enjoyed by taking in both island's cultures. It's quite fascinating on how different Lombok is from Bali/Lembogan. The climates, food, religion, and people are far from similar yet the islands are only an hour away by speed boat.

Tomorrow we head back to Bali as we need to retrieve our passports from Immigrations (visa extension). We'll head to a popular ...

... in the price of our trek so they took us one and a half hours away to our homestay, which was in Sengiggi, a mega touristy spot in Lombok. It was a no brainer that we all needed a shower to clean off two days worth of blood, sweat and tears before feeling normal again. Our neighbour Steve joined us for dinner that evening, our first adoptee as a six, he was brave. The girls finally got their beers that they had been craving the whole way down the mountain too. I had ...
