    ... guides which helped to make sense of everything we saw. Hearing about old funeral rituals and how they buried the dead was very interesting. Apparently these catacombs give some of the first evidence of Christianity on Malta as well. We rounded off our day with dinner at Peperoncino down between Sliema and St Julian's.     Today we enjoyed some beautiful sunshine at St. Peter's Pool with a group of friends - it was lovely! The beach area has a natural swimming pool which was perfect for bathing and relaxing in the water. We had a picnic and took lots of photos, and shared many happy memories of Malta!!!!

    ... to the farmhouse, where we were greeted by a large wooden front door and then realised why we had such large keys to fit the lock!
