FYI -- The city is a UNESCO World Heritage site and was founded by the Knights of St. John back in the 9th Century after being forced out of the Holy Lands and the island of Rhodes by the Ottomans.

Over the years it has withstood many attacks, the last being the Nazis during World War II that led to the island being awarded the St. George Medal by the British. ...

This tour was one of the best attractions in Malta, being full of historical information and close ups of every tributary and both The Grand Harbour and Marsamext Harbour. Today we enjoyed some beautiful sunshine at St. Peter's Pool with a group of friends - it was lovely! The beach area has a natural swimming pool which was perfect for bathing and relaxing in the water. We had a picnic and took lots of photos, and shared many happy memories of Malta!!!!

Was the perfect end to our trip!

After the game we threw balls with the German Shepherd in the park. There was a big building nearby with music booming from inside. Nicole and I were curious, so we walked around to the front gate and asked the security guard what was going on. He said they were having a rehearsal for the Malta Music Awards (MMAs) that night. We asked if we could go ...
