    ... for the roof and colourful toys for the birds. At the Green House (Ippy and Rami’s) there are some budgies in a cage, and a cockatiel called Johnny Walker who usually has free roam of their bedroom. Johnny is kind of my arch enemy. We love to hate each other. He hisses at me.

    On our way home I saw the local church was open for once, so I excitedly went inside and accidentally walked in on a funeral!

Then we walked down to the waterfront to the War Museum which houses the St George's Cross given to Malta for its help in Allied victory. lt also explained the strategic position Malta played during WWII.     ... by untamed cactus and wild flowers. We crawl through the well presented gardens outside the city walls before heading back to the lowlands. The next thing that happened is a perfect example of the Maltese. As we leave the countryside and go into the built up towns before the airport, the bus suddenly swings all the way around a roundabout, so we heading back the way we came.
