... as Leroy, NY and Oneida, NY before arriving here on July 24. It is wonderful to be here with everyone. The household is as busy as ever with one new schedule added. Emma has her first paying job. She wears a pink hat and shirt and sells The Pink Sheet outside Saratoga Springs race track. She is learning very quickly that earning money can be hard work. We plan to leave here at the end of August which doesn't give us much time so we will pick up JC in ...

Today we mostly drove across New York and into the popular Adirondack region. Along the way we saw everything from turkeys with chicks to deer along the road. Not sure where we were headed, we looked up white water rafting and plugged an outfitters address in the GPS. Many hours and windy roads later we meet Rebecca, the owner of ...

    First Stop

We're packed and ready to get on the road. We head to Saratoga, New York. Our hotel, the Saratoga Downtowner is a funky place. There's a 4 x12 foot pool in the middle of the motel with a greenhouse roof over top. We walked around this quaint town stopping at shops and riding the carousel. At our dinner spot, the Circus Cafe there was popcorn on the table for a snack. Will, Mei and I enjoyed a swim in the funky pool. ...
