It seems like each day brings new, unexpected experiences.

We day tripped from Interlaken to Lucerne and spent the first half of the afternoon cruising on Lake Lucerne on a beautiful 113 year old steam powered lake excursion boat.

Die Zentralbahn operates the train between Interlaken and Lucerne and the trip is considered one of the best scenic rides in Europe. Click on the Die Zentralbahn link ...

We also visited Schloss Schonbrunn - once home to Austria's Hapsburg family; it is a typical European palace with far too many rooms (1441 in fact), and too much money spent on it at the time. Breakfast consists of bread, pb&j, Nutella, muesli, yogurt, cheese and ...

The old town is a mostly pedestrian area filled with shops in buildings built hundreds of years ago, some with painted exteriors depicting both the original occupants of the shops (in one case rings indicating a jeweler) or a scene representing the owners (in one case a couple ...

... I'm sure from the pictures you can see why.

Arrived at 8:30 to a swarm of people around the car and taking photo's of us. We got a lot of attention and laughs, I think we were one of the most over the top fancy dress themes. Had some car magazines take pictures of us too.

Walked around And check out other cars, it's amazing the time and effort others put in.

      9:30, the ...
