    Some of our photo locations around Muonio, Finland were in areas where the topology forms cold temperature pools were we experienced -40 degrees C and below (-40 degrees F)! These temperatures are very dangerous to unprotected skin and quickly cause very bad frostbites and more unpleasant things!     The lake is very clean and the water is very clear. Whilst walking around the medieval fortress we saw this HUGE fish swim into shore.
