    ... nights with nothing but an open window and a mini fan to keep us cool. Our journey from Milan to Zurich was an epic one, 3 trains over 7 hours, but involved some of the most incredible scenery I have ever seen in my life as we passed through the Alps. Our first train hugged the shores of Lake Como as we headed to Tirano in Northern Italy.     ... to the Jung Frau. The railway was first planned in 1897 and completed in 1912 and is a tribute to Swiss engineering....the hill that we had to climb up and then the tunnel that was all cut out by hand was incredible. The carriages that you travel in have windows to slide down so you can take photos and lean out of in our kids case...! The rail was a cog rail line due to the gradient reaching 20% in parts. The country was amazing...I took so many photos it will take me a week to look at ...

    ... one trash and treasure market we walked through was overflowing with very nice stuff from people's houses. The prices also reflected the quality of the Swiss goods on offer. Luckily we couldn't buy anything as weight management is more important than stuff. Final adjustments on the bikes this afternoon and then it is "let the games begin" tomorrow with a 71km ride to Quarten. We are both looking forward to the tour ...
