appealed. It's no further from the beach than my bungalow at the very
back of the garden was. It's in the centre of what passes for "town"
with two 7/11's within spitting distance.

This then explains the sight of a young Thai man or women wandering cautiously into the sea with a shirt on and a slightly anxious look on their face.
