This morning we are taking it slow. First a great breakfast in the hotel...which includes a sweet Goan fruit, juicy and resembling a fig, but not a fig...and freshly baked bread rolls - this is the first decent bread we have tasted since leaving the UK. ... was a lot further than expected. We hopped on the nearest bus and from there went to Ponda. Once in Ponda, a Black and Yellow rickshaw took us to the Spice Plantation which was located through these huge, forest hills. The rickshaw could barely make it up the hill which was an experience all in itself.
