... I think I was definitely spoiled by all the great food in Germany.

Simon and his family were actually heading towards where I needed to go the next day for my flight, so they were nice enough to drop me off at the airport. I couldn't have asked for a better stay in Germany, it was such a fantastic time, I learned so much, and had such a perfect stay!

I had three more days to go before my flight back to the U.S., and I finished off where it all started, Madrid, Spain.

... fun being silly and snapping shots with virtually no people around!! And we totally killed it with our timing and were in and out in a little over an hour! We were pretty proud of our navigation skills. The customs/police even laughed at us when we came back as they were incredulous that we'd gone and come back already. Definitely their amusement for the day. Next up? Another 8 hour flight and then we are in ...

Monday 29th 8am Starbucks Frankfurt, just validated train travel. Breakfast was great and it's cold as. Pic to follow 3.00am 28th Berlin. Yes I know that is very early in the morning. Anyway something a bit odd with this blog, got an email to say my old entry had been saved and my new entries had been emailed to me in case I wanted to use them, so in short it stuffed up, who wants to replace the new with the old? I cut and pasted ...

Frankfurt, on the Main River, is very cosmopolitan and sometimes called Mainhatten.

Last night we were out...dinner, movie, sights. Today, we relaxed, got a massage...and went out to dinner...and a walk.

We have a very nice little AirBnB...on quaint street and neighborhood.

Tomorrow...cook breakfast, pack and get on the train to the Airport.

... fly for free AND sleep in a cozy bed swadled in blankets and pillows that didn't feel like sand paper. Flying as late as possible to Europe is offically the only way I will fly again. 9 hours isn't that bad when you can sleep for half of them. This didn't stop us from taking an hour nap in the Frankfurt airport during our 4 hour layover. Our next flight was 11 hours and much less crowded. I attribute that to the ...
