... which are priceless, kept here.
Our last stop was the church, where the designers really did attempt to create heaven on earth. As our guide said, "this is as close as I have seen to achieving it". It was magnificent, with exquisite details throughout. It is wonderful to see such beauty and majesty incorporated into structures to glorify God. ... Melk, enjoying the sunshine coming back. Bliss. We joined in Melk, and apparently the French couple didn't make it either because they stopped in one of the many gardens with terrace, luring cyclotourists away from the track and onto their comfy chairs, offering them local schnapps and beer... Apparently they are allocated one week each quarter to open up a wine cellar in their yrds , for Snacks and sampling this year's produce! the place was packed, but we squeezed in at the end of a Long table, and set to to sample away. At 2 Euro per large glass, it was a good evening. I had a muscatelle, a neuchatel and a sparkling rose before finishing with a Riesling! As for the Snack platter, the photos say it all!

... the student decided to fight with the prof - it was the most uncomfortable situation. After a few minutes of arguing back and forth, the student finally agreed to choose another topic. The prof, not very happy anymore, asked Veronica and I if we could discuss discount stores. He must have liked our answers as he gave us both 100%!

Later, Veronica and I found out that the student failed the second topic as he could not identify the correct 4 Ps of marketing......
