Elyse was nervous but composed. She looked beautiful as she had a wonderful young lady named Elspeth doing her makeup and hair. Elyse danced well but regretfully out of 118 dancers, she was not recalled to dance her set. She was disappointed, but she's had a hard year after breaking her foot and then having a chest infection for 6 weeks. We were pleased that she held her own, pushed herself, and danced ...

We drove on up the Island, on highways and a few prettier byways, ending up at a County Campground on the south coast in the town of Shirley. Today was a day for getting lost. Fortunately we know where we are right at this moment - in a hotel in North Kingstown, RI. Tomorrow we may be lost again.
We started the day getting lost going to the Knights of Columbus museum in New Haven. It took a couple trips around the block but finally we found it. It is quite a large museum, very well done, telling the story of the Knights.
