... I did finally fall back to sleep for about an hour. Today is going to be tough. I lazed in bed this morning until nearly 9 am and had a quick bite to eat at the hotel. Day trip to Princes' Island with Erol and Anna
... one of the local cats sleeping in the sunshine - it let out a hell of a screech - we sat down for our coffee fix and Erol filled us in on the plan for the day (Anna was to meet up with us later).
It was a very hot day so we took advantage of the only public transport to do a tour of the island - horse drawn carriages (the only other options were walking or bike riding). The poor horses are so skinny but we had to ignore that - it was too hot to consider other transport ...
