... I enjoyed my waffle and ice cream. Barry went off to the small shop and came back with some bite spray - a nice gesture but not enough to get him of the hook - 'but he was about to die' After a rest in the room it was out to the town to get Barry a Turkish shave. We settled on one near the hotel which made his face oh so smooth. No flames I. His ears though. Back to the hotel and just about to put my posh frock on when ...

... good but I just needed to sleep! Back in the hotel 2 cups of tea, a shower and a beer and thankfully it was dinner time. We missed waffle time. Turkish night. The waiters had waistcoats and there was a very tuneful live Turkish band! After our fill we nabbed seats in reception for the evening. Due to the weather the entertainment moved indoors. ... next came the black nylon shoulder bag bartered down from £10 to £7, bargain. Third and winner was a black and white LaCost copy for £8, down from £12.50 - long way to go with this bartering, but we were at the cheap end of the market. After Barry bought his postcards (without any bartering) we went to the adjacent bar to watch the football. England v. San Morino, 5 nil, slow first half but 2nd was ...

... short stroll around the town before the hotel entertainment. The Drifters were quite good once they got going, got the crowd involved. I was not so taken with the light show though. 3 blokes in outfits with coloured lights pretending to fight each other. Luckily this bit dint go on too long. I've found my first 2 bites this evening, felt I was being attacked while watching the ...
