She was making her third trip to the island and had made a similar plan to me, a day in the city, in case the rain came again. ... to contemplate my time here and start saying my goodbyes. For the evening, we had a quiet dinner to ourselves in a pizza place that had been recommended, and ended up trying out a few different bars afterwards (LAB, Idem, Prohibition) to see where would be best for my farewell drinks tomorrow. Suddenly going home feels very real and I'm not at all sure how I feel about it - really can't wait to see everyone... But was it long enough ...

... and had dinner at La Boveda, and stopped for "Spain's second best ice cream" in town. Palma held a "nit de art" (night of art) and was very very busy. A few galleries were open late and there were a few extra exhibitions. We stopped to watch a group of dancers and musicians fuse different types of dance including ballet, tap, flamenco and street. After all of that excitement, we had a final drink in Havana before bed - last day of school tomorrow - ...
