... Mexican Sunshine salad and Marian's lemon squares, made with, you guessed it, fresh-squeezed lemon juice! We were able to eat outside around the propane campfire (made sure the sprinklers were turned off before setting up!), another perfect meal!

D & I managed to get in a 11.5 km bike ride, on flat country roads running alongside of acres of carrot fields, date ...

... our way down to the pool. Merely one hour later and we were done, just could not hack the 120 degree heat any longer, so made our way to the bar by the pool (undercover and with a continuous mist spraying out to cool you down) and re-planned the day. We had the most amazing time at Coachella. We met a bit of a crew at our hostel in L.A who were going the same weekend as us. Two Australians Matt and Chris were searching for a ride and we had some extra seats in our camper van so they jumped in. It was such a cool van and it had a lizard design painted all over it! Compared to some of the other designs ours was pretty ordinary but it was still a really great camping set up and was so much better ...
