After a few beers, I went back to the albergue and spoke to the people there. It appeared that I was the only one starting there and the only one on a bike, so I gave them my advice on what was to come over the next couple of days.

... mais um monte...kdo vi Gijon ao longe nem queria acreditar.... Ficámos num camping e depois de comer qualquer coisa dormimos a sesta como pedras. Já ao fim da tarde, a ganhar apetite para a janta conhecemos o Juan de Madrid que tem a vontade de fazer 1000 km a pé, e vimos autocolantes subversivos do movimento 15M... ... gathering runner beans. They told me that there was a hostel nearby or that there was another one at the top of the hill. I thought that I could make it to the top if I had a rest so got into a recently cut field and lay down for 20 mins. Refreshed, I headed into the hill and laboured up it, gasping at times.
