    ... of fun, roads are pretty quiet over here at the moment not as many tourists as usual.Every morning we get our breakfast cooked for us by our cook which is included in our deal she has also cooked dinner for us several times ( great thai food) for the market cost of the food only, bargain. Not much else to report, plenty of reading, crosswords, cards etc.and a few drinks!! Hope everyone is well. Love to all. ...

    ... with a tiny Burmese fishing boat as we were in final preparation to sail from the river estuary in Myanmar. We saw it first hand several decks below us -- the little fishing boat pulled right up to the waterline of our ship. There were two fellows in the boat, along with a huge live pig, tied down with ropes, and several watermelons. Apparently the men thought the ship would like to buy their pig and watermelons...?! ...

    ... tide so we would get through if we lay flat on floor of kayak. Started having heart palpitations at the thought of enclosed dark spaces so thought - better not. However - girded my loins and decided to go.     ... and learn.... It was really muggy so we headed back to eat it in the room.....with G&Ts. It was a travesty - we had to leave behind so much gin! It was around this time we discovered troys compulsive need to both steal and drink bottles of water from the hotel. His stash was quite astonishing!! Finally it was time to go.
