    ... and no one would ever know it had been raining. The floor and everywhere else is dry again. Bangler Rd is the “place to be” and everyone heads there.     ... lane parts of the highway. I also think it has to do with the local government here – all these small companies can be in business. It’s kind of like the “taxi mafia” here in Patong. Other cities have reasonable taxi fares – here the drivers have set areas they can pick up from and the price is set higher. Tourist’s complaints are rife, but that’s the system.
