We decided to head home tonight and finish the trip. It's been an amazing few weeks. I've never felt like I've seen so much and been so exhausted from a trip. This will be a trip I remember forever. I've wanted to do a proper road trip since I was a child and it feels good to have finally done it. It is Saturday, July 26 and we are just about finished packing everything we think we might need into the RV, with the exception of food to be put in the freezer tomorrow morning. Although the refrigerator has been working well for the last 24 hours, we don't want to take the chance that something "bad" might happen -- the refrigerator will stop working and we'll have to throw away some food.

But, we did manage to squeeze in some fun--Grand Ole Opry with Charlie Daniels and a host of other groups, Cheekwood Botanical Garden, Belle Meade Plantation, and a fishing outing with Nashville Charters.
