    ... or opticians and the majority of the people we saw were holiday makers in their mid 60s+, either in couples/groups or single men +/- local girlfriends. We got back to the hotel, Andy went for a swim and then it was time for a meal – once eaten Andy decided to teach Emily to play pool – which was semi—successful.. We then turned in for the night!

    ... the states. Fresh steamed clams in a red base, a tofu soup, cashew chicken and of course rice also sat on our table. Everything was sooo good!! Even the fish and clams were amazing; I had not expected such good flavors to come from those. After dinner we walked by a rotti cart. Rotti is this amazing thai pancake thing. I get mine wit thai bananas, egg, and chocolate. They stretch the dough out super thin and cook it on the circular grill ...

    Woke up at about 8am, rolled over and went back to bed, advantages of being on holiday. Had a an okay night sleep, had to turn the air conditioning off during the night, too cold. I think the minimum temperature is about 23 degrees, rising to a maximum of 30 to 32 degrees. Breakfast lychees, juice, scrabbled eggs & bacon, toast & tea.
    Headed off to town, caught one of the town's local buses, open air back with seats facing each other, cost 10 baht, (35c). Or you could take ...
