... been apart, We were joking and laughing and had a great time together. She's a lovely girl and has such a beautiful nature. It was almost like i stopped backpacking for a while and just settled into everyday life. We spent every waking moment together, and while I am a lone traveller at heart, it was nice to have the company. It adds a new twist when re-visiting attractions you've seen before when you have someone else to share the experience with. The beach, as you will ...

Ahead of us today was 80km which was a nice way to ease into the ride. With the size of the group we have, as we rode through the city streets we literally stopped traffic and took charge of the lanes - quite the site to be reckoned with. Due the to heat - averaged about 32 degrees (so was over 35 at some points in the day) we made an extra pit stop for icecreams which was a nice relief.
