    ... girls english wasn't great, but could work out from sign language and arm movements, "Big Bang" on street.
    Obviously the power lines must of touched, arced and exploded. Losing power to the resort.
    I could of told you so. Ready for bed any way, I hit the sack. The electrical maintenance guys were on the ball, the lights came back on with in 15 minutes of me going to bed. Enjoyable day.

    ... run Aree's House provides a nice room for us, despite the snotty owner. Must be French-Swiss (sorry Jackie). But it's conveniently located between the waterfront and the night market. Due to poor weather, we don't see much of the waterfront, but the night market provides the most entertainment while we're here. The food on offer is excellent. There's maybe 10-15 restaurants in the market, all with their kitchens on the street. Full BBQs and frying stations setup amongst huge ...

We spent a day renting a moped and got out to see some temples around the town which was great, one was up a very steep hill which you ascended via cable-car and the views of the surrounding landscape were fantastic. After a couple of nights in Petchaburi we moved on to Hua Hin, where we are now.
