Her friend Ang also flew in that night and we drank and dined at Above 11, a very swanky rooftop bar. After breakfast we were picked up by the minivan. We had to buy three seats because of our big bags, but we could not have sat with them on our knees for the duration of the journey. We picked up a few locals, including a monk who sat in the front passenger seat and we were on our way. ... Roger had his own celebration by drinking 6 pints of Singha beer, the most he has had in one sitting since we left home. Needless to say, the 2 mile walk back to the hotel took longer than it always takes longer when zig-zagging!
We woke on our last morning with clear heads and headed for a grand breakfast at the Centara Hotel, the home of the chocolate buffet we enjoyed 36 hours earlier. It was great to have real crispy bacon... perhaps ...

... of kids around the age of fifteen. For two hours we did presentation/introduction, dialogue and songs. The kids are so sweet and as soon as Marina pulled out her camera, they all came towards us and we took pictures together.
The whole day was amazing, but it took some time to get used to having the cameras in the classroom with us all the time. Since many children cannot go to school in Thailand or there are not enough French teachers in Thailand, French classes ...
