Within the courtyard behind the temple, the walls were lined with statues of Buddha from other countries and in various poses. It's was the last stop with our guide. From there we made a quick stop by JJ Mall and looked around for a bit before heading back to our hotel for a break. We the went to lunch at a place Kelly's ...

From Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai - shopping!

A travel blog entry by danlogue on Apr 12, 2013

... was considered inappropriate - we were very pleased with ourselves! Since our hotel rooms in Chiang Mai were not quite ready, Nee took us to another high-end jewellery store....which had an equally fantastic selection but at much higher prices. In fact, we spotted the same silver woman's bangle that we had bought at the previous store but at TWICE the price....seriously....and we told everyone. Needless to say, we left that store quickly ...
