... br> Day 7 - Tonight we leave on Eurostar for Paris. But we have another day to explore and some more sightseeing to be done.

... come, we got a taxi to drive us all the way to The Tower of London to just decide that we should wait until the next day! Instead, we took a taxi-boat right next to The London Eye. Next to the gigantic Ferris wheel, we had dinner at Sherlock Holmes pub. It was delicious! After we came back, my family and I stayed up WAY to late, so we went to sleep.

I arrived back in the UK on Saturday evening and I'm staying in lovely Carshalton again. I've been visiting London for over 25 years in a special sort of way. Land at Heathrow, have a shower after the 24 hour flight, maybe a meeting near the airport then on a flight to somewhere else. I think I've spent 7 nights in London but never really seen the town. I remember a tourist bus ride one day and a couple of nights in the Paddington Hilton but that about all. ...

... the average human loses around 62 hairs a day?) and you could also telephone the people on ANY other seat on the plane! What a brilliant invention! Pranks ahoy! ... is very ill. It really came as a complete shock since he was so healthy and happy when I left NZ. It is really horrible having someone you care a lot about sick and being so far away that you can't do much more than send them a get well soon card.
