... Bellingen was very much a hippy town in the sixties and the architecture is quite different. There are plenty of organic farms, health shops and the cafes use local produce. It was very interesting to walk round and go into the shops. You can buy everything organic or ECO friendly in Bellingen. Although, we were a little surprised that they appear to stick there dogs in the washing machine ha! ha!

... I was a happy girl! Chair dancing, singing and of my happy places!! My plan for the day was to get to Port Macquarie, was a much longer drive than I had expected. The highway I was on was shutdown due to a forrest fire so we were detoured, it was very busy and at a crawling pace it made for long afternoon. There does not appear to be any fires near where I am now. I finally made it, hit a grocery store and then found a caravan park. Set up ...

... stuck in a lot of traffic with lots and lots of traffic lights to hold us up. We went wrong once in a busy place and had to turn around and join the queue again which was very frustrating as we had a long way to go at that stage.
