Hello...we're back!

Yes, we were here once before last fall. Lars and I booked a two week stay in late September. It was meant to be a healthy gift to each other in celebration of our first wedding anniversary and our birthday with are only a few days apart.

If you look back I think you find an entry around that time.

Unfortunately we had to leave for business reasons after only one week so we "banked" the second week to use in 2015. ...

In summer I suspect the area in which I am staying will be heaving with holiday makers but at the moment most of the holiday villas and flats that stretch for miles along the beach are empty and borded up. They are surrounded by wasteland and and abandoned building plots and I can't imagine why anyone would ever want to move here. ... tank had disgorged its contents onto the ground underneath. Normally the central heating also keeps the water tanks warm so that they can't freeze, if they are not kept warm then there is a failsafe mechanism which caused the tank valves to open and their contents are dumped. This is what happened and I had a huge and rather embarrassing lake underneath me when I got up.

I reluctantly drove South from Navejas to the next site about 8 ...

We have been having a very nice time in Spain since we have arrived and we've been all over the place! On Saturday we went exploring to Guadalest which was a very nice town up in the hills. The drive went through the mountains which is mostly farmland with lots of orange and lemon tress, and artichoke plants. There was a nice view off into the distance of the mar menor.
