After our tour of the site we went to a local taverna and hate a yummy lunch of local specialties, really tasty food -tzaski and a beet root dip. 2 salads a hot dish of lamb on rice, all washed down with red wine and ouzo! This was all included in out trip price including a traditional Greek folk dance demo then everyone join in including the throwing of plates! Lots of fun! Back to the ship for a wee siesta.     This is a great place to stay for Meteora. Run by a friendly family, very helpful and the rooms are spotlessly clean. We also got a great deal through Even included a continental breakfast which was lovely. Highly recommend.
