... We had been looking forward to the Paella cooking demonstration. Well, it was prepared in advance in a huge pan with no commentary. They sold big portions for 6.50 euros. Disappointed.
Hung out by the pool and talked politics with the Brits. For the most part they think Obama is great. But feel all politicians are crooks. After happy hour with our mates we walked to Shakespeare's pub per Arthur and ...

... in search of CharliesPub. No luck. We ended up at another Pub. If I could remember I would blog . don't go there. Dave ordered the special . liver and onions. Well, I think they stewed it for 3 days. Disgusting!!! I had some strange sausages in a sort of Yorkshire pudding.

We got dinner in this quaint restaurant (which was in no way big enough for all of us, but I appreciated it), and then we took the windy, terrifying uphill trip to an area near the observatory we had visited earlier in the trip. We got to take some AMAZING photos of La Orotava from the top, and the "sea of clouds" looked stunning in the night sky. In addition, the night sky has ...

    Gynecology

A travel blog entry by btfreder on Jun 16, 2014

Week 5 is here! I can't believe how fast this whole experience has gone by! It feels like just yesterday I was anxiously running around the airport hopelessly trying to make it to my terminal on time, and now here I am running around La Laguna as if it were my home town.

For my final week, I'm in the Gynecology unit with one of the session A fellows, Mary Hunter. Today was our first day, and I have to say that I'm more excited for the specialty now than ...
