The day started well enough with a nice walk along the beach, lunch in a beachside restaurant over looking the harbour... After lunch a few more beers in a couple of different bars and it was late afternoon, Linda and Mandy returned with Tia to Herman for the night as Mark, Cani and I powered on into the evening at the Tapas Bar, Beers, Run&Cokes and Bottles of Wine all being consumed... ... in Spain after all. But I later realized that some students come here not to study Spanish, but just to experience a different culture. Many students, for example, studied economics or chemical engineering here, and while they maybe knew some spanish, they had more practice with English.

When we first arrived we were fascinated by the little rocky coves and took loads of pictures, but we had seen online that the water was crystal clear and the water we had seen was cloudy and very churned up. We assumed that these pictures were ‘enhanced’ for the tourist brochures, that was until we saw them again at the end of the week…..wow, what a transformation!! The water was crystal clear ...

We were keen to set off exploring the next day but due to a very spectacular thunderstorm with monsoon rain, this was delayed until after lunch. things. Starting to feel like my home away from home.
Its all been a learning experience, to say the least!
