We woke and had breakfast and at first thought we would go for a walk up the mountains but after quick check of the weather we decided to hit the lake instead and go for a boat ride. We caught the 9.41am boat from Ruschlikon that did a loop of the river and dropped us on the other side of the lake at a beautiful park that led to the old town of Zurich. The ride takes us up through the clouds to a viewing station at 3000mtrs, bathed in sunlight. We are up here to view the Stanzahorn, but cloud restricts visability. We have lunch whilst we are there, & ...

... I would smile and she gave me nothing, just a blank stare. Awkward. But then at one point about 10 minutes in, our carriage stopped next to another carriage going down the other way and they had their window down like us and said hi and waved, and she smiled and waved back and said HELLO!!!!! They were strangers by the way. What??? I was stunned. And annoyed. So I made a point to really pick up the conversation with Ollie ( he was wondering what on earth ...
