Today we arrived in the small village of Haselbourg which is located on top of a hill on the border of Alsace and Lorraine areas of France. Haselbourg will be our home for the next two weeks and we are looking forward to living in this beautiful part of the world.

We walked back down towards the train station and into a restaurant where we had great yarn over a feast of cheese fondue (laced with schnapps) and beer. Traditionally, anyone who drops a piece of bread into the bubbling cheese has to perform some pre agreed feat, which can be something like a naked circuit of the restaurant - thankfully nobody dropped their bread!
