We pulled into the take-out boat ramp, and pleasantly had most of the ramp to ourselves. Quickly cars are retrieved, the rafts are unloaded and deflated (all except Frank's which they take home mostly inflated strapped on the top of their trailer). With everyone's help the cars and trailers are packed up, and we bid a sad goodbye to the Green River. We had enjoyed one another's company enough that we all met at a restaurant in Craig ...
... that went down to 10 mph. The road was a thin 2 laner and the only part that had guardrails were the corners, the rest was a drop-off of at least 1,000 ft or so. At the top I took a picture of one side of the mountain and the other side. There are no Aspen trees here and no colours just green and brown. Looking forward to getting to the Grand Tetons tomorrow, this will remove another item from my bucket list :)
... lunch in a spot by the Green River. Later on, Fred found a rock he liked at another spot in the Green River so we now have 3 rocks to bring home!
The next to the last stop had some Indian petroglyphs (pictures carved into stone) that are over 1000 years old. We got some good pictures and marveled at how well they are preserved.

While cleaning up the mess, the kids
continue eating pizza while watching me and snickering to themselves.
Peter wants milk; so I go to the fridge and find a sippy cup of
left-over carnation instant breakfast and give it to him. He sucks
that down and chomps on his pizza.
