... a bit, but finally we were on our way.

It's always a happy moment when we turn the key in the lock and see our sun-filled apartment with that lovely view of the sea. Our home for the coming winter months!

It didn't take us long to get settled. And to our delight, shortly after our arrival Vincent, Alexia and Madlyn came by to give us a warm hello....and a few minutes later Marie appeared to make their welcome complete!

Alicante was a nice way to end our time in Spain. After we got a wheel chair sorted out we walked down to see the castle (I want to say it was called St. Helena but I'm not positive) and then hit the boardwalk near the sea. It was pretty cold and deserted down there but we did stumble on a huge pirate ship/bar that made Mike very happy (see picture of him on a throne).
