500 miles drive back to Calais today......
Left the site at Issoire at 7 and left the motorway north of Orleans at 10:30. Bit more traffic and the detour around Rouen but we got to the site at Calais after a lunch stop and a coffee break for 4:00. Little tent up in 20 mins, quick beer then off to the new pool for a dip then curry for tea. ...

Omelette and frites for tea washes down with Organic Cotes du Rhone at £2:50 a bottle from ...

Anna left for Paris this morning and since I drank a bit much last night (after the France victory) I slept in this morning and didn't get to say goodbye. Hopefully I'll get to see her and thank her for everything one last time once we're back in Paris!

After I woke up I made a little brunch (which normally consists of ham and butter sandwiches with mustard and Camembert) and then headed to the beach for the ...

... English (with French subtitles) so that I could understand.

Also, we kind of lost Blackie today (he ran away) but after dinner Frank and I went to the pub to watch the France Ecuador FIFA match and I ended up finding Blackie on the street outside after the game! I also listened to some good jams at the dinner table tonight and realized that 9 times out of 10, when I'm having a rough day listening to good music always cheers me ...
