    ... at the Tour de Jeanne D'Arc which turned out to be a First World War memorial, then pointed the car north for the drive to Calais. Stopped a couple of times for a break and got to Calais around 5:30. A quick purchase of wine from Majestic, then off to check in at the hotel. La Bonne Auberge at Brêmes, is basic and clean.     ... made it clear he didn't believe - we had a really long chat about everything (not religion particularly) with them & so didn't leave till almost 11am but as it was raining that was fine.
