    ... one of these blokes had a tennis ball on the side of his head, most people would call it a growth, I'll stick with tennis ball. The other was like Elmer Fudd with bottle bottom glasses and cross eyed to boot! Perhaps they were checking us out for defects!     ... the bike handles without 3 ton of **** on it. (That doesn't include me Meynell).

    Quick coffee stop at Pont Aven, buy some stamps, (easier said than done). Get spoken to by some French weirdos, one of whom really wanted to bum a fag and the other was a half soaked girl with herpes who liked Australia. Back to the hotel.

    We stopped at this little village called Ambon for half an hour's break and then continued our journey through some lovely villages and countryside.

    We stopped at Pontivy for something to eat. Found this nice little restaurant on a square serving up a 'formule' - starter and main course for €11. Bring it on.
    I know what most of the stuff is on the board but not everything. I ask the waiter / unscrupulous owner, "What is salade de gesier?", so he starts rubbing his tum and mentions tasty and chicken with croutons and salade. "OK, I'll have 1 of those". Will has the same.
