Fiorella, our private guide, picked us up with Enzo in a lovely Mercedes, to take us to Pompeii. It was great having a guide who took us to the most important and most restored parts of the vast village. It is hard to believe that anything buried under volcanic substances(which allowed exceptional preservation) from 79 AD could still exist. ... business. This place is picturesque. There's a big music festival on here at the moment .. Opera singers orchestras and local musicians. Expresso time and then we wander though the little shops.
