... the curriculum for primary school pupils. Woodwork and textiles are studied to a high standard and pupils demonstrate good skills. The tool cupboards would be the envy of any carpenter!

Dinner in the evening was cooked by my host and it was delicious. There was an amazing sunset in the crisp cool air of the evening.

... been a good idea. I was so tired that I turned my alarm off at 4 and woke up instead at 6. I got dressed, grabbed my bag and took off to the airport. At 630 when the agent was trying to track down my bag, she suddenly asked for my passport. Before I knew if she was handing me a boarding pass to my 7 am flight and told me to run. ... Of course there is a new track and lights but no new plastic seats or other modern improvements. We walked to the far end and out though an arched entrance. There were several attractive sporting statues and plaques listing the winners of gold medals in all the events including ones for Art, Literature and Music. We were really pleased we had come. Not the usual tourist attraction but an interesting one for us.
