... shock to our systems.
Dunedin is a lovely city with quite a lot to do. Unfortunately the Cadbury’s factory wasn’t open so we decided to drive the Otago Peninsula instead. The road is literally right on the edge of the peninsula the whole way around. There are different bays to stop off at where you can see seals and penguins as well as the albatross. after the quake, it was cordoned off although we could see the broken and crooked buildings through the fencing. Now many of those buildings have been demolished, others, such as the Victorian buildings where there was a cafe and craft shops aare being rebuilt. The trams are ...

... allowed onto the flight, it was smooth sailing. Friendly immigration officers welcomed us to New Zealand. We had to produce our return ticket (maybe they were suspicious of the Canadian!). He said we could show him the ticket on our smart phone. Mum and Dad declared that they were one of the small percentage of people in the world who not only didn’t travel with a smart phone, but they didn’t even ...
