      ... Thailand airport I started to get a bit nervous. I had heard so many stories about people being ripped off I was wondering where it would start. Thankfully, we passed customs, immigration and got a minibus without any problems. The only issue was that I was the last one on the crammed minibus and shared 1/4 of my seat with backpacks piled to the ceiling.

      Patong was mental. After a day on the beach with the girls we got back to our hostel (which was very decent) and got ready to go out. We were joined by a guy from our dorm and we walked to the local market, along the way I seen so many cockroaches I almost passed out waaaaaaa :((( it seems very typical of Patong though cause its such a touristy place with lots of restaurants and bars.       ... a few words in Thai for good luck and put a few drops of water on my head.

      In Patong I did plenty of relaxing, finishing the book I've been reading, using the roof top swimming pool and enjoying daily gym sessions. The YK Patong hotel is the only hotel I've been to with a resident cat, who would wait outside the room for some attention.
