... 6 in the Atrium area has Meridan Bay – souvenirs/gifts, clothes, alcohol etc, Essence (perfume / makeup etc) and Calyso Cove - clothes, jewellery etc. and just near the Atrium was Facets.

Deck 5 has the Future Cruise Sales, Shore excursions, Captain’s Circle host, Front Desk and La Patisserie which is just a bar and coffee.

We are on time--the ship leaves 2 hours late. The Zaandam was in the Bahamas for routine maintenance in dry dock the two weeks previous to our cruise. When they examined the propeller and shaft, they found that they needed to do major replacements. So the ship arrived Fort Lauderdale later than expected and we needed extra time loading supplies.

WooHoo, we made it through our all nighter!!! And a few things are more than abundantly clear. First off, we are WAAAAAY to old to be pulling an all nighter. Secondly, that is most definitely the last time we'll even attempt to do so! Third, BYOB establishments and Jeremiah Weed Sweet Tea Vodka are a dangerous combination! After the club closed at 4am we found a nice spot to watch ...

... posing for photos. They look like they actually enjoy what they do. We all met up at Bistro on Five for lunch, known for their variety of crepes. The 5 dollar charge is well worth it. I met more people from our Cruise Critic roll call here as well.
