Weekend in Veracruz
... with everything. I still haven’t sent off my insurance claim or applied for a replacement passport yet. I am hoping to get the final bits done today so I can get it all sent off. It has been such a lot of paperwork and as I have no printer here I have to take everything over to Tec for printing or scanning and it is just so time consuming.

... for the kids at home. Outside, conveniently, were a number of souvenir stores, because I had no other time to pick up souvenirs and gifts. I picked up what I thought was a very neat, white Mexican shirt as well, only to find all the waiters wearing it during lunch.

The Conference (ATMEX) Begins
Today the conference begins proper. I was one of the few early ones for breakfast and decided to sit with what looked like another participant. He turned out to be one of the guest speakers, who arrived the night before. His topic was blogging and he specializes in the topic of adventure, including mountaineering. Activities On Lake Catemaco
... for a couple of sit in's and a tandem, which was occupied by the kayak guide and birding guide. I decided to stick close to the birding guide in case he pointed out any notable species. As it turned out, his specialty was birding and not paddling, and they were so slow and way behind the pack.

... niños que van de visita. Además que los cadetes son muy amables. Después fui a caminar por el Malecón y encontré un camioncito que me llevaba al Fuerte de San Juan de Ulua. Llegando nos encontramos a un guía que te lleva por todo el Fuerte,dandonte un recorrido lleno de folklor e historias
