3) Visit to Emirates Palace
Emirates Palace is a very very grand hotel in Abu Dhabi. I think its the most expensive hotel ever built but I need to check with google as I may be wrong!!
Anyway, we went for a drink to the beach bar one evening and it was lovely!!

Breakfast at the Hilton we really good. Lots of choices, including a man to make your omelette. After breakfast we made our way to the Marina Mall, the most popular in town. We could see it from our room but again we were not willing to walk and it wasn't worth using our car when there were plenty of taxis to take us on a cheap ride. ... this is a very dangerous road with only 2 lanes each destination and many trucks and we have to be very careful. But when we went there I could not understand what the guys are talking about. If this is dangerous what can I tell them about our Mombasa -Nairobi highway where we have one lane each, crazy truck drivers, mad overland busses and of course our Matatu friends. ... was dark, miserable yet all the locals had smiles on their faces. We went for a walk around Ashbourne had a great coffee from the Lithuanian lady who also makes the most amazing Belgian chocolates. A bit of shopping followed by a beer and a meal at Ashbourne House.
